Trunk Club Try On | March Part II

If you guys have been following me, you know this month I got a new Trunk Club stylist!! This box I asked for Spring transitional pieces and a few more athletic wear pieces (I can’t help it) focusing on affordability! The pieces in this box are SO GOOD! My stylist suggested items I never would have put together, but they worked and that’s when you know you’ve got a good one!

For those of you who don’t know about Trunk Club, it’s Nordstrom’s styling program – they hook you up with a stylist who learns about you and sends you pieces however often you’d like, you keep what you want and they pick up what you don’t! If you’re a Nordstrom cardholder, the styling fee is waived! I decided to do my Trunk Club Try On on my insta stories, but actually link everything here (and on the LTK app – just go to the app and search for ‘neverbeenso’) for easy access!

This is from the Free People beach collection and is the perfect swim cover up! Its thicker than normal cover ups, which is awesome for those chilly times when you first get out of the water or at night! Its not maternity, but would fit a bump perfectly and is absolutely nursing friendly. PLUS, this dusty rose beauty HAS POCKETS! She sent along these calf hair animal print sandals that I love with it!

This is one of those looks I never pictured myself pulling off. Sneakers with a midi or maxi dress, nope just wasnt me. Until my stylist sent it in this month’s trunk club, I put it on for this try on and instantly decided maybe I could pull this off. This slip dress is adorable, I wish I would have taken a still photo of the back, but you can see it on my insta story highlight! She also sent along these white platform sneaks that I’m lovinggg!

Here’s another Floral Madewell dress she sent me that works perfectly with these white sneakers! Its form fitting and feminine, especially with the front slit! This look screams warm weather brunch.

I shared with you guys on my story that I HATED this top on the preview. Once putting it on, I didn’t hate it but, its just not for me, mainly because the entire back is open (see more on my story). However, if you’re one of those lucky souls who can rock no bra then by all means, this top is for you! Also, I’m all about wide leg pants, I have a pair already, but this pair is by j.crew so the quality and style is legit.

Here comes more of my favorites…athleisure! Will I ever stop buying athleisure? I probably should, but will I? Anyway, this is the first time I’ve tried on a pair of Outdoor Voices leggings and they’re as good as I expected. I love the style and the compression for sure. They have a ton of colors, but this combo is definitely my favorite. My stylist also included this top by Zella, super soft, super cozy.

Spoiler: I am O B S E S S E D with this sweatshirt. I love that its this pretty light spring color, nursing friendly, has pockets, has a hood, breathable. It’s perfect post-gym, lounging at the house, running errands, chilly spring mornings, chilly summer nights, with leggings, with denim, with shorts, with denim shorts. I need it, thats all.

The last two items are kind of meh. I actually don’t dislike the top, but I dislike this color with my skin tone. They offer it in white and black, which I’d likely opt for and think would pair well with denim this spring/summer. The leggings are a big ol NO for me.

That’s it for this month! Let me know your favorite look of the haul! And if there’s anything specific you’d like to see next time or any questions you have about Trunk Club!
