Fall Essentials Part III

I recently came across local artist Caitlin Jepsen, of PNTD PRNTS. Her work is creative, edgy and fun. Not only can you purchase her artwork to hang, but she has transferred them to apparel as well! As a lover of style, I strive to find unique pieces and it doesn’t get more unique than local art! I’m wearing her cropped ‘Screaming Girl’ tank, which goes perfectly with this week. In other news, it’s getting colder, which means my outerwear is getting thicker. I’m a sucker for a cozy jacket and the bomber is the perfect fit this Fall. Pull up any site and there you’ll see a page (or five) of these bomber beauties. Naturally, I want every single one (stay tuned for my post dedicated solely to the bomber jacket).

Styling Blacks and Browns

I used to be so anti styling blacks and browns together, but now I can’t get enough of it! These Chelsea boots are my favorite shoes for doing so, as they already embrace the duo of colors and make any outfit complete! Not to mention they’re uber comfy!

I paired them with this ivory quilted jacket and the look came together beautifully! This anthro jacket is over 65% off! Tuesday #ootd

I just had the most beautiful LONG weekend in Colorado visiting friends. It was my first time out there and the beauty was astounding. We didn’t have the best weather, but it was better than back here at home [lookin at you Joaquin] and the atmosphere did not disappoint. That being said, I’m now back to the grind after 5 days off and let me tell you, it’s tough. My body definitely couldn’t keep up with that binge drinking/eating lifestyle [I gained at least 7 lbs from this trip] and right now I’m hurting.

So when the alarm started going at 4am, I had zero motivation to get up and moving and when that happens, I always feel like a good outfit puts me back together and on the right track. However, today, leggings > real pants! [Brands below]
