Bulky sweaters do the job of blocking out the cold in the winter, but I don’t always feel super cute. However, sometimes you come across those multi-purpose sweaters that do both – the game changers. The ones that scream “it’s ok, you can be warm and cozy and still run the world.”

I came across this lace up sweater from Make Me Chic and it did just that.

Normally the winter really gets me down. Once the holidays are over, there isn’t much to look forward to. It’s freezing. It’s dark. Everything looks blah. But this look made me do a 180. These shades of blue paired with a pop of yellow have me smiling ear to ear.

Now I’ve never been so in the mood for (winter) blues.

I recently came across local artist Caitlin Jepsen, of PNTD PRNTS. Her work is creative, edgy and fun. Not only can you purchase her artwork to hang, but she has transferred them to apparel as well! As a lover of style, I strive to find unique pieces and it doesn’t get more unique than local art! I’m wearing her cropped ‘Screaming Girl’ tank, which goes perfectly with this week. In other news, it’s getting colder, which means my outerwear is getting thicker. I’m a sucker for a cozy jacket and the bomber is the perfect fit this Fall. Pull up any site and there you’ll see a page (or five) of these bomber beauties. Naturally, I want every single one (stay tuned for my post dedicated solely to the bomber jacket).

We all love sunglasses, but it’s not an accessory that you can constantly switch up. The good ones cost a pretty penny or they scratch, get lost etc. Recently, a friend told me about Sintillia, an accessory for your sunglasses. An accessory for an accessory?! I was all in. Sintilla manufactures statement sunglass straps so that you can dress up your sunnies on the daily!

I went ahead with the Chain Lace style, but at an affordable price point, I’ll definitely be heading back for more.

I started the Fall Essentials series last week (don’t forget to go back and enter the GIVEAWAY) and am so excited to share with you another of my Fall favorites. You know during summer when it’s hot and humid and wearing clothes doesn’t really seem high on the priority list. Well those times are now and I end up clinging to anything that doesn’t make me sweat immediately. Lately, I’m obsessing over this two-piece from She-In (details below)! Got it originally as a possibility for my upcoming bachelorette party in KEY WEST (34 day countdown!), but quickly realized this baby is perfect for these super hot summer days! It’s #neverbeenso lightweight! It is rather sheer, so I may end up using it mostly as a cover-up, but really I may just decide IDGAF and wear it as I please! Best part: it’s $16.99!
