I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Fall is my favorite time of year. Main reason: LAYERS. The cooler temps in the morning have you wearing your latest poncho or bomber jacket while come afternoon, you’re stripped down showing off your favorite sleeveless shift dress. It feels so good to be back! As many of you know, I got MARRIED this past weekend and what a whirlwind couple months its been! Once I get more photos back, I plan to do a lengthy blog post detailing my path up to the wedding, my cherished vendors and sharing how the whole thing went off more perfectly than I could have imagined.

But until then….

The temperatures are cooler |thank god|, which has me in such a happy place because well, fall fashion. However, Will and I have a wedding at the end of the month in Jamaica, so I’m trying to find the medium between fall and summer, let’s call it fummer, or sall. Anyway. Make Me Chic makes this SO easy with it’s extremely affordable pieces that are great on their own and perfect for layering. This wide leg jumpsuit is the comfiest thing I’ve put on my body in a long time AND it’s $19. NINETEEN FREAKIN DOLLARS. It’s definitely a bigger item, so I got it in an XS and it fits perfectly.

Punch! is a local Baltimore boutique and I am OBSESSED. I went in for the first time last week and spent at least 30 minutes in there browsing, circling constantly. I picked up these earrings and cactus necklace, but could have picked up so much more. They have accessories, clothing, home décor etc.

90s Comeback: Bayside Tigers and Scrunchies

Have you ever had one of those days/weeks/months where you just long to be a little kid again? Where you want to escape all of the real-world drama and concern yourself with which heart throb poster you’d hang up on your wall from TeenBeat or whether you fed your tamagotchi enough food before you left for school.

If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram, you’ve most likely seen my desperate posts about our venue owner stealing A LOT of money from us and closing down the venue 5 weeks before our wedding. Re-planning a wedding that you’ve spent over 15 months planning, in only 5 weeks is NOT easy. So, all I can think about is how easy life was when we were kids. I decided to bring a little nostalgia back this week, in hopes of reliving a time that was stress and anxiety-free. I can’t say it fixed my problems, but wearing this Bayside Tigers tee and some scrunchies really made me feel on top of the world like Kelly Kapowski.

I allowed myself to take Sunday afternoon as a break from all of this drama. But now that it’s Monday, it’s back to the hunt for a wedding venue! One thing is for sure, we will get married on October 1. If only the Malibu Sands Beach Club was open.

Free people is still having a major sale on accessories, but they’re fleeing fast! Friday, I looked online and they had 14 pages and now they’re down to 5! So, get moving quick. I nabbed this choker during their extra 50% off sale promo aka it was $5.

Last week I went to Nordstrom Rack and spent at least 3 hours in there hunting around. Found some great deals! I’m telling you if you have the time, take it. Stay tuned for some of the other gems I scored!

You’ll Be Living In This Two-Piece All Summer

You know during summer when it’s hot and humid and wearing clothes doesn’t really seem high on the priority list. Well those times are now and I end up clinging to anything that doesn’t make me sweat immediately. Lately, I’m obsessing over this two-piece from She-In (details below)! Got it originally as a possibility for my upcoming bachelorette party in KEY WEST (34 day countdown!), but quickly realized this baby is perfect for these super hot summer days! It’s #neverbeenso lightweight! It is rather sheer, so I may end up using it mostly as a cover-up, but really I may just decide IDGAF and wear it as I please! Best part: it’s $16.99!

Weekend Recap. Maxis, Tacos, Cocktails and Crabs.

There are few things better than gorgeous warm weather with a light breeze on the weekend. And this weekend was full it. I spent the weekend with good friends and family, good food and good drinks. I found one of my new favorite OPI shades – “towel me about it” (from the OPI Retro Summer Collection). And I lived in maxi dresses (check out one of my favorites below). I’ve never been so content.

Do you ever have one of those “mind blown” moments that you really just can’t comprehend? Well I also had one of those this weekend. I LOVE Jeffrey Campbell, his creativity is so unique. So, I’ve had this pair of wedged sandals for YEARS, I don’t remember buying them, I’m pretty sure I found them on serious sale and never really even knew who they were by. In preparation for this post, I checked the inside of these sandals (below) and I had to do a double take. JEFFREY CAMPBELL. I couldn’t believe it. I had been wearing them constantly every summer and had absolutely no idea that they were by one of my favorite designers…guess it makes sense that they’re my go-tos.

The Perfect Summer Outfit

Perfect weather has finally made its appearance and I’ve never been so happy. I’ve been living in this Madewell dress I got on serious sale (under $40!) a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, it’s no longer on their website, but I’ve linked a similar one below. Pockets in a dress are everything to me, especially in the summer!

Can we also talk about how I’ve never been so obsessed with this Candy Yum Yum lip shade from MAC.
